Listen to sounds of the ocean with the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra and learn about how these sounds are produced with various instruments.
1–4 PM – Level 3 Atrium
Visit our Nature NL volunteers to feel pelts, bones and feathers and ask your questions about our province’s wild plants, animals and spaces.
1–4 PM – Level 3
Join volunteers from the Whale Release and Strandings Group and help them put together a life-size whale puzzle with real whale bones.
2–4 PM – History Classroom
Make your own giant squid with great big googley-eyes. It’s a great way to find out how the real animal is put together – from tentacles to tail fin.

Canada C3: Coast to Coast to Coast – A special screening
The acclaimed 45-minute documentary Canada C3 – Canada Coast to Coast to Coast, follows the historic 150-day, 25,000 km expedition which sailed Canada’s coastline, from Toronto, Ontario to Victoria, British Columbia via the Northwest Passage. A signature project for Canada’s 150th Anniversary of Confederation, the inspiring journey explored Canada’s past, present and future.
