Online registration for all children starting Kindergarten in September, 2025 (Kinderstart for September 2024) begins in early May. Children must be five years of age on or before December 31st, 2025.
Families will need the child’s MCP number (with expiration date), an email address to receive electronic confirmation of registration, a contact phone number, an emergency contact phone number and an internet-ready device to complete the process. Registration begins at 9 a.m. (NT) on:
Wednesday, May 8 / Thursday, May 9, for Family of Schools 7-10 (formerly known as the Avalon Region, including St. John’s Metro); and
Monday, May 13 / Tuesday, May 14, for Family of Schools 1-6 (formerly known as Central, Western and Labrador regions).
Registration will be ongoing for both English and Early French Immersion programs simultaneously. Families needing assistance for any reason (technology issues, learning disabilities, etc) should contact their zoned school for assistance. For more information, visit www.nlschools.ca
