The Rug Hooking Guild of Newfoundland and Labrador (RHGNL) is excited to announce the return of its annual Rug School, scheduled from Thursday, August 15 to Sunday, August 18. Held at the picturesque Grenfell Campus of Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador in Corner Brook, this year’s event promises an enriching experience for rug hooking enthusiasts.

Dedicated to promoting the art of rug hooking and preserving its rich heritage in Newfoundland and Labrador, the RHGNL provides opportunities for enthusiasts to enhance their skills and connect with fellow artists through workshops, exhibitions, and community outreach.

Attendees of Rug School 2024 can anticipate exciting changes, including a revamped course format offering maximum flexibility and customization. Participants can choose between an 18-hour course or a selection of three 6-hour courses, tailoring their learning experience to their individual interests and skill levels.

Registration for Rug School is currently open. To secure a spot in desired courses, participants are encouraged to register promptly, as courses are expected to fill up quickly.
