These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
John 16:33
Problems are part of life. Jesus Himself said it clearly: “In the world you will have tribulation.” Anxiety, pressure, unexpected situations — they come to all of us. Trying to avoid them completely is impossible.
But Jesus does not leave us without hope. He points us to a different source of peace — not in the absence of problems, but in His presence.
Many people search for peace in changing circumstances: solving every issue, controlling every detail, securing every outcome. Yet real peace is not found when everything is perfect. It is found when the heart is anchored in Christ.
“In me you may have peace.” This is the invitation. Peace is not a place. It is a relationship.
When we come to Jesus, when we trust Him, when we rest in His promises, something changes within us. The storm may still be around us, but it no longer rules us. His victory becomes our assurance.
Today, bring your anxiety to Him. Speak to Him honestly. Trust that He has already overcome what you are facing.
True peace is not found in this world — it is found in Christ.
