Centre for Life is having a Family Fun Day / Walk for Life on September 12th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Divine Mercy Church at 340A Newfoundland Drive. There will be face painting, live music, games, demonstrations by Tec Nurtur of Coding for Children, video games and building a robot rover, plus a BBQ. Mark the date and come enjoy a great family event in support of “LIFE”! Sponsor sheets are available by calling the Centre for Life at 709-579-1500. The rain date will be September 26th.
Thinking about joining a choir in September? Come and join Coastal Sounds Choir Association. We have 2 choirs of energetic, kind and welcoming choristers looking for new friends.

Recent earthquakes in Colombia and in Venezuela have brought untold suffering to families in the loss of loved ones, homes and livelihoods. As one family of God, we feel their suffering. Development and Peace-Caritas Canada is sponsoring a fundraiser to assist the people of these countries.
Let us join together to help through a fundraising concert at St. Teresa’s Church, Mundy Pond Road on Sunday, September 13 at 3 p.m.

Are you experiencing the pain of separation or divorce? You don’t have to go through it alone.
DivorceCare is a 13-week support and recovery program designed to help individuals navigate one of life’s most difficult transitions.
Through educational videos, group discussion, and mutual encouragement, participants can find practical guidance, hope, and a caring community of support.
The DivorceCare program will take place every Tuesday evening, from September 15th through December 8th, from 7 to 9 p.m.
The sessions will be held at the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Newfoundland and Labrador office, located at 1045 Topsail Road in Mount Pearl.

“The Turning Tides”
Music of Sea Service and Spirit, featuring the Stadacona Band of the Royal Canadian Navy, September 17th, 7 pm at the Arts and Culture Centre. Special guests are the Royal Newfoundland Regiment Band. Admission is free.
Tickets are now available for Church of the Good Shepherd’s famous Jiggs Dinner, Tuesday, September 29. Take-out meals will be available at 4:30 pm and dine-in will be served at 6 pm. Please get your tickets early before they run out by calling the church office at 709-747-1022 or dropping by the church office at 111 Richard Nolan Drive in Mount Pearl.
